This season the midfielder from Egypt is still to be featured in Arsenal. This has made a slight impact under manager Unai Emery. Mohamed Elneny might leave Arsenal next week that is before the European transfer window end. The time of Elneny at the Emirates seems to be drawing close as he is struggling to force his way into the plans of boss Unai Emery. According to reports Egyptian is Ligue 1 side Bordeaux target  who is thinking to take a move before cut off, that is September 2.

Bordeaux has been in business with Arsenal before as well at the time of Laurent Koscielny transfer. In this season, till the time Elneny has not come for Gunners. Also, he has played a small role in the previous campaign. In total competitions of Gunners, he has 17 appearances, but no one was at crucial places. He was seen in Europa League group stages as well as the domestic cups early rounds.

After leaving Basel in 2016, he is associated with Arsenal, but now looks enough to requirements under the regime of Emery. Dani Ceballos arrival in the team and the emergence of Joe Willock the young player have pushed Elneny further down the pecking order.

According to reports, Bordeaux is hopeful to secure a loan deal for the player, he signed a fresh long-term contract with player  last year. That time, Elneny said, “For a long time, we will be together officially, for a longer time to reach what we started, and to place Arsenal at the spot that it deserves in Europe as well as the entire world.” In three opening Premier League fixtures, Elneny has not been engaged by Emery in any of the matchday squads. This even includes the Liverpool trip as well.
