  1. I don’t dispute that, but a lot of the poor defending was due to Arsenal’s play. Nasri had taken 4 players out of play by dribbling wide and did a good job getting the ball away. When the ball got to Diaby there was plenty of space in the centre, Diaby with some fine touches charged forward into the space, with so much room most defenders would’ve either held off or fouled him. A talented footballer, I hope he has an injury free season.

  2. that’s what’s so ridiculous about van persie- you’d think having been at arsenal through those times he’d know that better than anybody. just imagine if rvp had just shut up and signed the contract this year- a team of szczesny, sagna, vermaelen, gibbs, song, arteta, cazorla, walcott, podolski, van persie, with back up of mertesacker, santos, coquelin, rosicky, wilshere, ramsey, diaby, giroud, gervinho, the ox. I’m gonna put my neck out and say that could be the strongest squad in the league.

  3. I honestly believe had some the players Arsenal had stayed. They would be right up there with us and city now. Adebayor, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin Van Persie, Vermaelen, Walcott, Song, Clichy, Sagna, Giroud. That’s actually a good team, but it seems everytime Arsenal are on the brink, a player leaves. A few years ago they close then Flamini and Hleb left. Its a vicious circle.

  4. If he wasn’t injured all the time I can’t help but feel by now he would’ve ironed out the silly passes & wrong decisions he sometimes makes and would be a very good player…on the bench at Barcelona

  5. He is a wonderful player just needs to have a run without injuries to prove himself again

  6. nope… Henry, vieira, wiltord, flamini, pires , celebrating a goal…that is the frenchest scene ever .;)

  7. But thats what you have to do, force mistakes right, Brilliant from Diaby but from villas point of view it was poor.
