Ian Wright, the former Arsenal player, reckons that Alexis Sanchez might be lured away by some other top club at the end of the ongoing season.

This is Sanchez’s debut season at Arsenal and he has not disappointed anybody with his performances.

But, despite his consistency, the Gunners have not been able to take off as a group.

In Europe, one can say they have not been that bad; but, when it comes to the Premiership, their performance has been really ordinary.

According to Wright, if Arsenal doesn’t manage to make it to Europe this season, they might end up losing Sanchez.

In one of his posts on a social networking site, Wright wrote, “The way Sanchez is going, I am afraid somebody would lure him away next summer.”

Sanchez, the 25-year old winger from Chile, has started 10 league games for the Gunners and has shaken the net 8 times. It’s quite good for a guy who is playing in England for the first time. He has been pretty quick in adapting to the conditions and the pitches.

There were already rumours last week that Sanchez was upset about certain things at his new club, but, the player himself denied that later on saying that he was alright at the Emirates Stadium.

But, there is certainly no denying that he would be thinking about the transfer if Arsenal doesn’t finish in top 4 in the Premiership this season.

There is a big part of the season left though. Twenty seven games are there for the Gunners and they have every chance to move up in the table, but, they can’t do that playing the way they have been playing so far. They have to raise their game especially in the defence.
