Arsenal, Manchester United and Schalke 04 are some of the top European squads that have shown interest in signing the German defensive midfielder and all of those clubs received a huge boost after receiving the news about the player turning into a free agent at the end of this season.

Sami Khedira is a 27 year old midfielder who has experienced playing in some of the biggest stages and clubs from around the world. FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, La Liga and the Bundesliga are some of the major pieces of silverware that Khedira has acquired throughout his playing career.

Despite all of the experience and everything that Khedira has to offer in the pitch, he has fallen behind in the pecking order of Carlo Ancelotti as the Italian midfielder prefers using using Luka Modric and other players instead of Khedira.

“This is not a decision against Real, but I want to put a new charm in my career and develop myself.” Sami Khedira said as he was talking about his decision to leave the Spanish club.

Arsene Wenger is eager on signing a veteran player who can bring experience and leadership to Arsenal and Sami Khedira is at the top of his watch-list but Arsene Wenger will have a difficult task in bringing the German midfielder to the Emirates Stadium as Chelsea and even Bayern Munich are making plans on signing Khedira when he becomes a free agent at the end of this season which is when his contract with Real Madrid runs out.

In the previous summer, Wenger attempted to sign Khedira but failed on doing so after the player requested wages in the region of €150,000 each week but now that the midfielder is eager on leaving Real Madrid and just get playing time in any club, his wages demand might be down.
